Whitefish Lake Golf Course 406-862-4000 announces improvements

The new forward tee on number nine of the North Course will provide a larger teeing area in roughly the same location as the current forward tee.  Plans also include converting the irrigation system on the North Course to a more efficient operation that is computerized based on the need for water and is easily adjusted when a need arises. Players will most likely not even notice the irrigation upgrade process since it mainly involves replacing the controllers and some wiring while not disrupting play at all.

The Whitefish Lake Golf Course continues to make capital improvements to enhance the golfers experience at the facility.  This year members and visitors will see the newly constructed deck and outside service area.  The new deck features a wait station and bar for patrons to better serve their food and beverage desires and adds increased efficiency for the staff.  Patrons will enjoy the increased service and amenities that the new deck will provide.  The new deck and wait station will include log features to match the existing historic club house and the surrounding area will

feature stamped concrete that not only looks great but helps to quiet traffic in the area.

Players will note the relocated starter shack at the course that will decrease some of the congestion around the deck and clubhouse and will also offer the staff a better view of the number one tee on the South Course.  The cart path serving the first hole on the North Course will be moved to the south side of the tee to further reduce the congestion and noise around the deck and clubhouse.   Rockwork will be added to the first tee on the North Course to improve the
